With the implementation of UHV transmission projects in China, the demand for high voltage glass insulators will be increased greatly.
Composition of glass insulators
Glass insulator is mainly made up of three parts: glass fiber epoxy resin pull rod, silicon rubber umbrella skirt and fittings. The silicone rubber umbrella skirt is made by integral injection process, so as to solve the key problem of glass insulator reliability, interface breakdown. The combination of the glass drawing rod and the fittings adopts the most advanced pressing technology. It is equipped with full automatic sound wave detection and detection system.
